MOPED was founded in 2007 in a Brooklyn apartment by producer and storyteller Maureen Isern, and has since earned legs in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and with clients around the world. At the heart of its creation and still true today is the desire to give important stories a strategic spotlight.
In our early years, we often learned that clients knew they ‘should’ be telling their stories, but they often didn’t know what stories to tell or how to tell them in a way that found results. In response, we started developing and crystallizing their story touch points, and then crafting their messaging campaign around those points using all areas of digital media, and most often, video. The first client who trusted us to deliver was Hospice & Community Care in Rock Hill, South Carolina, for whom we delivered more than a dozen videos across two years, with some earning attention and awards from regional publications and the White House.
Whether it’s to influence, engage, or entertain — the audience experience is at the center of everything we do. We aim to improve communities and the world through the sharing of story, and we are inspired to help uplift both our clients and audiences in doing so.
We’ve produced over 700 videos for over 100 clients and counting. Nearly every single one of them has been a referral or repeat client. Check out our work
